Is Turtle Cove worth visiting?
From the moment you set foot in Turtle Cove, you’ll quickly realize that this locale is like no other in the Caribbean. Being the sole upscale gated community on the island, Turtle Cove boasts a prime location within walking distance of the world-famous Grace Bay Beach (widely regarded top three beaches in the world).
The majority of tours departing from Turtle Cove Marina are centered around water sports, such as scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, and sailing. For those who prefer a leisurely day at the beach, there are ample opportunities to bask in the sun, sand, and sea. Two notable options in the region are Smith’s Reef Beach and Babalua Beach.
Situated to the east of the marina inlet, Smith’s Reef is an exceptional snorkeling location. As the primary and most easily accessible beach, it offers a fantastic underwater experience.
On the opposite side of the marina inlet lies Babalua Beach. Although slightly more sheltered compared to Smith’s Reef, accessing it can be a bit more challenging. However, for those willing to make the effort, Babalua Beach promises a secluded and serene coastal retreat.
What to do at Turtle Cove
